Planning and development consultancy Lichfields is moving from King’s Cross to the heart of the City of London as it continues to grow its client base and headcount.

The new 15,500 sq ft office will occupy the third floor in the recently refurbished Minster Building, on Mincing Lane.

With the new offices able to accommodate up to 150 staff the relocation will support the firm’s growth ambitions, positioning it closer to key property investors, other professional services, and readily accessible for all clients and staff.

London office head, Senior Director Neil Goldsmith said, “We could not have picked a more exciting and dynamic location in central London.

“Our choice of bigger and better premises signifies our confidence in London and the prospects for growth in our business, and coincides with improved economic sentiment post-election.”

The move to the Minster Building comes as Lichfields continues to work on some of London and the South East’s key development projects, including Fulham Football Club, Greenwich Peninsula, SKY Studios Elstree, Dunton Hills (a designated Garden Community), and expansion at three of London’s airports.

Lichfields offers a broad range of planning and development services with a roster of blue-chip private sector clients across the housing, commercial, retail and industrial sectors, advises a number of public sector organisations, and has specialist teams offering expertise in aviation, economics, heritage, neighbourly matters, and sustainability.

The London office is also the headquarters for the national consultancy which has a total of nine offices across the UK.
